Smyth, Vera L. Avon: Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on May 22, 2014 at age 94. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Howard. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Wick of Chili, Maureen Gaelens of Chili, Susan Love (Joe Hendrickson) of Avon, Gail (Brian) Simpson of Bellefonte, PA, Mary Ellen (William) Graham of Avon; 10 wonderful grandchildren; 5 very special great grandchildren. She also leaves behind an enormous circle of friends. Tuesday at 9:30 AM her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Agnes Church or Avon Free Library, 143 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., Avon.
