Muriel M. Pike (Walter) LIMA-CALEDONIA - October 18, 2019 at age 87. She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Dennis) Garcia, George (Kathleen) Walter both of SC; stepsons, Glenn "Eddie" (Theresa) Pike of NC, Charles "Skip" (Sabine) Pike of Fairport, John (Darlene) Pike of Caledonia; grandchildren, 1st Lt. Samuel Walter USAF, Margaret Walter, Claire (Michael) Feith, Lucy Nicholas; several step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; lifelong friend Alice Faye of CO. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Glenn E. Pike. Muriel was a professional horse trainer for Wadsworth Farm, Whipper-In for the Genesee Valley Hunt, champion rodeo trick rider, and barrel racer. She was a former District Commissioner for the Genesee Valley Pony Club. She also worked in movies as a stunt rider including stunt double for Anne Baxter in the movie Cimmaron. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 4-6 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where a Period of Remembrance will be held at 6 PM. Private interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Fowlerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesee Valley Conservancy, PO Box 73, Geneseo, NY 14454 or MCH Foundation, 435 E.
