Louis D. Marino, Jr.

Honeoye Falls-Louis D. Marino, Jr.(Gigi), 88, 0f Honeoye Falls, NY, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Louis D. Marino, Sr., and Mary E. (Piela) Marino.

Louis was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School class of 1956. He went on to become a chemical engineer graduating from the University of Buffalo. Louis retired from Sabin Metal in Scottsville, NY. Lou spent quality time with his boys in the Fillmore, NY area when they were growing up. He was a great photographer, and especially enjoyed taking pictures of Hummingbirds. Louis also spent countless hours doing puzzles, framing them, and giving them as gifts to family. Louis was a long time resident of West Henrietta, NY, and relocated to Honeoye Falls, NY area with his loving wife of 27 years, Linda.

In addition to his wife, Louis is survived by his sons, Andrew (Paris) Marino of Franklinville, NY, Louis D. (Kelly) Marino of Woodstock, GA; step-son, Stephen (Patricia) Gessel of Cohocton, NY; siblings, Joanne Marino McGreevy, Esq., Lucia (Raymond) McGovern, and Mary Jo (late Joe) Meli; grandchildren, Bradley, Lindsay, Aleasha, and McKenna; Great-grandchildren, Lillian, Eli, Jackson, Aaron, and Cooper; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His children and all the grandchildren were the joys of his life!

He was sadly predeceased by infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth; siblings, Dr. John A.R. (Michelene) Marino, Dolores Marino, and Richard (Barbara) Marino.

A Celebration of Life memorial luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11 A.M. at Antonio's, 7708 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
