Larry L. Faulkner

Passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 77.He leaves behind a family who will dearly miss him; his wife of 53 year, Marcia, children, Leslie (Scott) Denhart, Jeff (Michelle) Faulkner. Most beloved Grandchildren Gus and Cleo Denhart, Emery and Everly Faulkner. Bothers Tom (Gloria) and Dick. His special group of HFL retirees and their spouses who were like family to us, wonderful neighbors Jeff, Beth and the boys.

Larry taught Mathematics for many years in the HFL School District. He was a avid golfer, some may say borderline on obsession and a lifetime NY Yankees and Giants fan. He loved spending time with family, attending his grandchildren's many activities, having breakfast or coffee with the guys, a good joke, and pestering his grandchildren with spontaneous math quizzes, much to their chagrin. In his retirement years he also enjoyed volunteering with the RDGA and Habitat for Humanity.

Friends may call Friday. March 1, 2024 from 4-6 PM at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home 350 Genesee St. Avon. His celebration of life will be held Saturday May 4 from 12- 3 PM at Wildwood Country Club, Rush. At the families request no flowers, please hug those you hold dear, help a friend or neighbor, and be kind.
