He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years Bethany (Wolf) Stills; children Luna Pearl Stills, Robert “Robby" Parsons, Laelynn Parsons; mother Brenda Stills; sister Ashonte (Erik) Thomas; brother Davis Stills (Melissa Roldan – Stills); nieces and nephews Delia, Everett Stills, Russell, Lyla Thomas. Jonathan was predeceased by his father William Stills.
Jonathan was born and raised in Lima, New York, where he built a legacy of love and service. A 2003 graduate of Honeoye Falls-Lima School District, Jonathan earned an Associate’s degree in criminal justice and dedicated his life to his community. As a devoted husband to Bethany and an extraordinary father to their three beloved children, he cherished raising his family in the village he called home, filling their lives with laughter, bedtime stories, and unwavering support at every school event, soccer game, and dance recital. His proudest moments were watching his children grow, teaching them kindness and courage through his gentle guidance and boundless love.
For 10 years, Jonathan was a well-loved school bus driver, known as the “singing bus driver” for his joyful voice that brightened every ride. His compassionate heart shone as an aide for people with special needs, advocating for their inclusion and dignity. With magnetic charisma, Jonathan co-owned Premier Party Entertainment, captivating audiences as a DJ and wedding singer, and Premier Party Rentals, providing bounce houses, tables, chairs, and tents for countless celebrations. His commitment to service was evident as an EMT and ambulance driver with the Lima Volunteer Ambulance Corps from 2006 to 2023, inspired by his father’s heroic example, and as a certified Firefighter with the Honeoye Falls Fire Department for over three years.
In 2021, Jonathan founded “Love Leads Us,” a non-profit to combat racism through love-based initiatives, organizing peace walks, food cabinets, Thanksgiving meals for those in need, and support for fire victims and families facing hardship. His vision for a united community led to his recent election as Lima Village Trustee. Jonathan authentically lived out John 13:34-35: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” His integrity, passion, and love, championed by his incredible wife, Bethany, and their three children, will continue to inspire all who knew him.
