Gregory Johnson
Gregory S Johnson, of Caledonia, age 70, passed away unexpectedly Saturday,
February 28th 2026. Greg was born June 1, 1955 in Batavia, the son of Kenneth and
Doris (Putnam) Johnson.

Along with his parents, Greg was predeceased by his loving wife of over 40 years
Christina (Bordonaro) Johnson; Grandparents Clayton and Ruth Johnson, Merton and
Marie Putnam; and Father-in-law Lawrence Bordonaro.
Greg is survived by siblings, Gary Johnson, Kim (Neil) Ayers; Nieces, Kylie (Joe)
Dries, Abbey (Devin) Horan; Great nephews and niece that were his world, Joey and
Lizzie Dries, Garrett Horan; Mother-in-law, Arlene Bordonaro; Sister-in-law, Alyce Clark,
several nephews, and cousins.

Greg, along with his brother Gary, started and ran Johnson Brothers Construction
in Avon for over 40 years. Greg loved driving his dump truck and talking with customers.
He prided himself in helping anyone who needed it. He also loved spending time with
his wife, enjoying all the local restaurants and spending time together at the casino. He
also loved spending time with his nieces and soaking in the joy his great nephews and
niece brought to his life.

The family would like to send a sincere thank you to the members of the
Livingston County Sheriff's Department, Avon Police Department, and all first responders.

Family and Friends are invited to call from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, March 6,
2026 at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home 350 Genesee St. Avon, NY Where his Funeral
Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00am with procession following to East Avon Cemetery for burial.
