Thomas, Dena A. Avon: March 23, 2014 at age 85. She is survived by her nephews, Wilbur (Dawn) Dowdle, Douglas (Anita) Dowdle, Thomas (Frankie) Dowdle; several great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Mary Thomas; sisters, Marie Dowdle, Olive Thomas. She was a longtime member of the Avon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday NOON - 2 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee Street, Avon. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 7 PM at the Avon Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Hall, 5590 Lake Road, Avon. Interment, Oak Ridge Cemetery, South Livonia.
