Dallas Edward Hamler "Ed" Avon Died suddenly on June 17, 2024 at age 85. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Margaret (Despard) Hamler; children Charlene (David) Gassman, Timothy (Margaret) Hamler; grandchildren Stephanie (Jason) Steger, Travis Gassman (Emma Hallett), Carolann and Christopher Hamler; brother James Hamler; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Kathy Herman; brother Daryl Hamler. Ed was a mechanic for the Churchville - Chili School District. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 2 - 5 pm at the Stephenson - Dougherty Funeral Home 350 Genesee Street, Avon where his Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 at 10 am .
