Carpenter, Albertus W. "Bert" Avon: June 15, 2016 at age 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Anne Marie Carpenter; sons Anthony Carpenter, Andre Patterson, David Frye; grandchildren Isaiah, Janai Carpenter; sister Audree Carpenter; brother-in-law Robert Zieglar; sister-in-law Pearlene Patters; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Sarah Carpenter; siblings James Jr., Sylvia Carpenter. He was a lifetime resident of Avon, retiree of Eastman Kodak, Co., and a Veteran. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday 1-3 pm at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 350 Genesee Street, Avon where his Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm.
