Avon- Died peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at age 91 at the Auburn Community Hospital. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Greg (Tammy) Brown of Avon, Lynda (Frank) DeOrio of Auburn, Andrea (Jay) Chen of Binghamton; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Mary (Dom) Montemarano, Virginia Gambino; sister-in-law Linda Badami; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband Edwin A. Brown and her brother James “Jack” Badami.

Mrs. Brown was born in Geneseo, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Castelli Badami. Mrs. Brown moved to Avon and lived on Temple Street where she raised her family, and last year moved to Auburn to be near her daughter and her family. Lucille was a devoted wife, mother , and grandmother and she provided a warm loving home for her family and friends. Her family was her life and she was very devoted to them. Lucille was a member of the Sweet Adelines for over 40 years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and took pride in everything she made.

Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10 AM her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Agnes Church 96 Prospect St, Avon, NY 14414.
