Rush – November 6, 2019 at age 105. She is survived by her daughter Georgia Dowe of Lima; 6 grandchildren, Curt (Maritzsa) Dowe, Eric Dowe, Brittany, Rachel, Donny Frankovich; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Ruth was predeceased by her son William Beeman; grandson Craig Dowe; great granddaughter Tanya Dowe.
Ruth was an energic hard working, faithful, fun, and genuine person. It is fair to say that Ruth lived life to the fullest. At age 63 her life was renewed, and she decided to travel the world and become outgoing and adventurous. Her new energy allowed her to square dance and bowl both of which she loved dearly. She volunteered at Highland Hospital for 23 years and loved the people she volunteered with. Ruth was always a giving person. She donated to many charities including the Open Door Mission, and Ronald McDonald House in Rochester. Ruth also made lap robes for Veterans, and knitted gloves and hat for the children. She was an active church member in the Open Door Baptist Church in Churchville and was always willing and energetic to help with any church project and activity. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Open Door Baptist Church, 350 Scottsville – Chili Road, Churchville. Private interment Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Ruth’s memory.
