LIMA-CALEDONIA - October 18, 2019 at age 87. She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Dennis) Garcia, George (Kathleen) Walter both of SC; stepsons, Glenn “Eddie” (Theresa) Pike of NC, Charles “Skip” (Sabine) Pike of Fairport, John (Darlene) Pike of Caledonia; grandchildren, 1st Lt. Samuel Walter USAF, Margaret Walter, Claire (Michael) Feith, Lucy Nicholas; several step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; lifelong friend Alice Faye of CO.

Muriel was predeceased by her husband Glenn E. Pike.

Muriel was a professional horse trainer for Wadsworth Farm, Whipper-In for the Genesee Valley Hunt, champion rodeo trick rider, and barrel racer. She was a former District Commissioner for the Genesee Valley Pony Club. She also worked in movies as a stunt rider including stunt double for Anne Baxter in the movie Cimmaron.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 4-6 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where a Period of Remembrance will be held at 6 PM. Private interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Fowlerville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesee Valley Conservancy, PO Box 73, Geneseo, NY 14454 or MCH Foundation, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
