AVON/LIMA - June 15, 2019 at age 89. He is survived by his son, Marc (Lynda) Iler of Canandaigua; granddaughter, Jennifer J. Iler (fiance Christopher Tauterouff) of Fairport; nephews, nieces and cousins. Predeceased by his wife, Jean Louise LeFeber Iler; parents, Clyde Iler Sr. and Helen Chase; sisters, Martha Gould Brongo, Patsy Benson Jones, Judy (Ron) Torrens; brother-in-law, Donald D. LeFeber. Clyde was born and raised in Avon, graduated from Avon High School in 1949, lived in Lima for many years. He worked at Joslyn-Lima Insulator, Annis Dairy and drove bus for Avon athletics. He was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1956. Butch enjoyed sports, was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and was a HUGE supporter of Avon athletics, himself being an Avon Brave in both football and baseball.
Family and friends are invited call Thursday 12 Noon - 2 PM at the Stephenson- Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon.
