November 15, 2017 at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann; children, Kim (Kevin) Jennings, Shari (John) Rapone, Todd (Mary Graham) Close; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine (Carl) Lockhart, Virginia Springett, Nancy Close, Judy (Fred) Deming; brother, Charles (Linda) Close; many nieces & nephews.

For many years, Lee farmed on Fowlerville Rd. with his father. He then retired as a Town of Avon worker. He enjoyed many years of snowmobiling, camping, and was a Nascar enthusiast. Lee was always there for a good joke, a good laugh, and a good time. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. Tally Ho!!

Friends may call Monday 4-7 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon where his Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 11 AM. Interment, E. Avon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620.
