WEST BLOOMFIELD - February 2, 2019 at age 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Gertrude (Herring) Reed; son, Douglas (Lu Ann) Reed of Victor; brother, Walter Reed of FL.; granddaughter, Ashley Reed; several nieces and nephews.
Fred was predeceased by his son, Mark Reed. Fred was a member of the Steel Workers Union and was employed until his retirement at Riddler Pfaudler, Inc. in Rochester, NY
Family and friends are invited to call Thursday 4-7PM at O’Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima, where his Funeral Service will be held following calling hours at 7PM. Private Interment Union Cemetery, Livonia, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Serenity House, 1278 Brace Rd., Victor, NY 14564.
