Survived by her children Ted (Susan) of Gowanda, NY; Pam (Tom) Henie of Minden, NV; Mary Ann (Bob) Exler of West Henrietta, NY; 10 grandchildren: Christopher M. Trewer, Cory R. Trewer, Kelly L. Trewer Rochniak, Erik W. Henie, Lisa B. Henie, David T. Henie, Allison G. Henie, Kristin M. Henie, Robert J. Exler and John W. Exler, 9 great-grandchildren: Joseph Trewer, Sophie Trewer, Haley Trewer, Jacob Trewer, Emma Rochniak and Nathan Rochniak, sisters: Emma Onnolee Henchen, Ruth Stone.
Renee graduated from Avon Central School in 1950. She married Will in 1951 and devoted her life to creating a loving home for him and their children. She served the Avon Community as a volunteer through the Zion Episcopal Church, Avon Interfaith Council, and Avon Food Pantry. Renee loved children and worked as an Assistant Teacher at Circle Nursery School for several years.
A private graveside service at Leicester Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the Avon Food Pantry, 108 Prospect Street, Avon, NY 14414. Special thanks to the staff of the Avon Nursing Home.
