Condolences

Condolence From: Linda Delaney
Condolence: TO C.A. and the rest of your wonderful family, I wanted you to know that even though I can't be there in person, I am in spirit. Diane often told me that she though of me as the sister she never had, and even when she no longer remembered me, we started our friendship all over again and she said essentially the same thing. What good times we had! I think of her anytime I hear about Notre Dame football, every St Patrick's Day and whenever I bake chocolate chip cookies. (We were cookie rivals, as I recall.) I hate this disease that has taken so much from all of us. But we'll all remember Diane when she was her bubbly, candid, and mischievous self. Love to you all. Linda Delaney

Condolence: I'm not sure if any of you know me, but I just wanted you to know that some extra thoughts and prayers are with you right now. I got to know Diane through caring for her Aunt Agnes several years ago. Agnes just adored her, and it was obvious why. Such a determined and caring lady. I am so sorry for your loss, so very sorry that she - and you - had to suffer through the heartbreaks of alzheimers disease. And thank you for sharing a bit of her life in this obituary, too. What a wonderful lady. Surrounded by a wonderful family who meant the world to her. May God touch your hearts with special joy as you remember Diane, and give you comfort and peace and the assurance of His presence with you and all those you love.
